What have i been up to knitting-wise lately? Mostly socks. They really are terrific. i have three pairs on the needles. two are "for me" but we'll see. C:
Other than that, the most recent projects i've completed have been baby blankets. One was a normal size--about 4' rectangle-ish (i.e. square but doesn't look like it bc of the pattern). It was for one of my coworkers who just had her fourth girl. I learned the pattern from a friend in college, but have since found it on ravelry. I've also since heard it called feather and fan. I love using this pattern for baby blankets because it's SO easy (easiest lace you'll ever do), turns out very beautiful, and has a very delicate look to it- but is very durable. Highly recommended.
The other baby blanket was for a girl from church and her baby boy. She asked for one that could keep him from stealing another kid's blanket. so this one was overly fuzzy. and brown and orange. so cute.
